Janet Clare saw delphiniums for the first time with her dearest friend Rosie. It was the first time theyd been together for a long time; theyd just enjoyed a delicious lunch in a little restaurant set in the grounds of a garden. The sun was shining, they were all content and happy to be together at last, and then they saw the delphiniumslove at first sight! Huge, tall spires of flowers in every shade of blue and lilac, the softest pinks and mauves filling the borders and catching their imaginations. Captivating! Janet couldnt wait to get home to her paints to capture the lovely afternoon forever.
